Umbrella Company

Umbrella companies provide contractors with an instant company structure under which they can start their contract immediately. Once you have found a contract, the umbrella company signs the contract with the agency or end user, and takes care of all the paperwork and compliance issues associated with running the company.

Once you submit your weekly/monthly timesheet to us, we will process your contract income (minus our management fee) through the payroll of the Umbrella Company, deduct relevant and tax and National Insurance liabilities, process any valid business expenses you have incurred, and pay your net salary to your nominated bank account.

Unlike the limited company structure, you need not be concerned with the administrative duties imposed upon limited company directors, however you should check with us first to ensure that you are aware of the different tax implications of working via either route, and the projected net return from your contract.
