Q. Why should I use Clarity and not another contractor accountant?

Q. Once I join Clarity, am I stuck with them for a full financial year, even if I don’t like them?

A. 
When you join Clarity we will issue you with a Letter of Engagement, which will set out the terms of our relationship with you. However it is not a fixed term contract, and you can leave at any time as long as your monthly fees are up-to-date.

Q. What recourse do I have if I think you have misled me or your services have not been technically competent causing me financial loss?

A. Clarity is regulated by the practicing ethics of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and should you have any cause for complaint which is not resolved to your satisfaction you can take it up with ICAS and they will attempt to resolve the problem on your behalf.

Q. How can I be sure you are giving me the best, most current advice?

A. As members of a professional accountancy body we are constantly kept in touch with current developments on tax and financial procedures, practices and legislation changes, and attend regular refresher courses on these topics. This ensures that our key people are in the best position to offer you the best advice.

Q. Will I have online access with Clarity?

A. Yes. Once you have joined Clarity you will have access to two online portals, one for recording and reporting on all financial transactions, and one for accessing correspondence and communications with Clarity.
